Artwork Aboard Royal Caribbean's
Jewel of the Seas

For our final 'tour' of the Jewel of the Seas, I wanted to show you some of the artwork and decoration aboard the ship. A lot of effort has been put into the shipboard environment; just about everywhere you look you can see actual artwork or artistic touches that make the ship really beautiful inside.

Most interior wall surfaces in the ship had artwork on them- particularly in stairways, and I would like to show you many of these. There was also a great amount of sculpture and other three-dimensional art throughout the ship- from the solarium to the atrium and everywhere in between; many of these pieces (some of them originals) are worth looking at. And, finally, there were a few architectural touches that pretty much qualified as artistic, and these, too, are work a look.

There were so many pictures worth viewing that making thumbnails for all of them and having you click on each one to see a single picture would be an imposition, so I've just put them into a slideshow that you can move through as quickly as you can click a mouse button. That slideshow, which will be organized into the three categories of art mentioned above, is at left.

To view the slideshow, just click on the image at right and I will open the slideshow in a new window. In the slideshow, you can use the little arrows in the lower corners of each image to move from one to the next, and the index numbers in the upper left of each image will tell you where you are in the series. When you are finished looking at the pictures, just close the popup window.

You can use the links below to continue to another photo album page.
