A Trip to Fort Lauderdale

In early July, Fred and I flew down to Fort Lauderdale to spend a little over a week. We would have stayed longer, but the airline fare we lucked into was ONLY good for the outbound flight on the 8th and the return flight on the 16th. The fare for those particular days, and no others, was less than half of what the once-cheap fares to Fort Lauderdale have now become. So we took advantage of the fare to go down to spend some time there.

We have been to Fort Lauderdale so often that, unless we are entertaining someone else or we do something we haven't done before (and there is not a lot of that left), it is pretty much routine what we do when we are down there. On this particular trip, for the very first time, neither of us found anything new to photograph. I guess we just subconsciously through that we didn't need yet more pictures of the Riverwalk, or of the beach or of just about anything.

But that isn't to say that we didn't take some pictures during the trip. In fact, Fred took quite a few of them from the air on the way down. So those are the only pictures that I have to include on this particular album page.
