Since last year sometime, Fred and I have been talking about making a return trip to Las Vegas. We have not been there since 1999, and a lot has changed. In 1999, we were there with Ron Mathis and Chris Young, Lowery Evans and Ron Drew and Mike Racke. Now, some ten years later, Mike and Lowery have both passed away. Ron Drew has a new partner, Jay Silbert. And Ron Mathis and Chris have split up, and Ron has a new partner- Jay Enriquez. Although we've asked Ron Mathis and Jay to join us, their own schedules prohibited that, but in their place we have asked our newest friends, Steve and Mario, if they would like to make the trip.

So it has come down to six of us this time. It will be Fred and myself and Steve and Mario from here, and Ron and Jay from Fort Lauderdale. Fred and I will be on one flight to Las Vegas early Thursday morning while Steve and Mario will be on a different flight (cost issues) about a half hour later. The four of us will meet up at McCarran Airport in Las Vegas. Ron and Jay will be flying in to Las Vegas via Minneapolis (more cost issues) Thursday evening. All six of us will be staying at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino on the Strip.

While this certainly wasn't one of the longest trips we took, so many people were taking so many pictures that I am going to once again organize them the same way I have organized other major vacation trips in this album- by giving you an index into the various segments (days) of the trip.

The index below will allow you go directly to any particular day of the trip, and it describes what we did each day in case you want to see something specific. But you might just go to the first day and then go day to day from there.
