A couple of times a year, Ron Drew likes to come back to this area to visit with his Mom in Lawton and see his friends here in Dallas. This trip was one of those visits. Ron and Jay stayed with me; Ron's Mom and her friend Buss drove down from Lawton to spend a couple of days here with Ron.

I had lunch with them twice, and always enjoy seeing his Mom. We planned a get-together for Sunday night, January 17th, and I invited everyone that Ron knows- and almost everyone showed up. We had Fred and I and Ron and Jay, of course, but also Ron Mathis and Jay Enriquez from Plano, Brad, Barbara, Tom and John, Lynne and Greg. I fixed a simple supper and Fred made a couple of desserts. The main purpose of the evening was to enable Ron to see all his friends again without having to travel all over the Metroplex. Everyone had a great time.

Fred did the picture-taking duties this evening, and I am pleased to include some of the best of those pictures here. If you will click on the little image below for any picture that interests you, I'll show you the full-sized image:

Fred took one movie at the party, where he wandered around and got just about everybody into one scene or another.

We had a really good time at the party, and we enjoyed having Ron and Jay visit us.
