For quite some time now, Fred and I have been talking with Guy about making a trip to the Wichita Mountains, and we have finally been able to arrange it. Our plans are to drive to Lawton on the 29th, check in to our hotel, and then spend the rest of the day in the Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge. We will stay the night, and then do almost a full day of hiking tomorrow before returning to Dallas tomorrow night. We will leave some of our favorite hikes for a return trip with Guy sometime in the future.
