Today, we've been invited out to Steve & Mario's house in Hurst to help celebrate Mario's milestone 60th birthday, and we have of course expected. So this afternoon, we've driven the 20 miles or so out to Hurst.

Steve and Mario have a very nice house on a quiet street in Hurst, and when we arrived we joined the other guests for conversation, a light supper, and cupcakes. It was very nice of Mario to let everyone know that Fred also just had a birthday and that the gathering was really a co-celebration. All the shots from this evening are just candid party photos, and here they are:

The candles are all lit, and we're ready for the "Happy Birthday" tradition.

Of course, the "tradition" is the singing of the song and blowing out of the candles, and I would certainly not deprive you of watching and listening to everyone making silly:

The candles have been extinguished, and Steve is reciting the different flavors of the cupcakes.

We enjoyed the gathering, meeting up again with some of Steve and Mario's other friends!
