	February 8-17, 1991: A Trip to Fort Lauderdale

Since early in the year, Grant and I have tried to take things one day at a time. Grant has spent a good deal of time here in Florida, and has overseen the finishing of the electrical work and the installation of the track lighting. He has also overseen the closing of the second door to the bedroom in the condo here, as well as the reconstruction of the window at the back of the bedroom. We have gotten new doors for the bedroom and the bedroom closet, and have brought more things down here from Dallas. DIARY ENTRY

In May, 1991, we began making plans to go on a cruise. Grant had stopped in to a travel agency on Las Olas one day and picked up some brochures on cruises and talked to a man named Val who said that there were many very good deals for cruises coming up in the Fall. Grant asked if we could go on one, and of course I said that we could. We made plans to sail from Ft. Lauderdale on October 19th aboard the Costa Riviera. Once we had made our plans, Grant was talking to his brother Don, who said that he and his girlfriend Patty had also always wanted to go on a cruise. Don looked into things and ended up making reservations for the same cruise.

Trying to put the entire cruise on one album page would make that page unwieldy, so I have broken this trip down into a separate page for each day of the cruise. Using the Index

We took lots pictures during our cruise, so I have had to find a good way to organize them so that they are not simply overwhelming (and so the album pages don't take too long to load). For this trip, I'll simply have a page for each day, beginning with our embarkation on October 19th.

In this index, you'll find a link that will take you to each of the separate album pages for the individual days of our cruise. For each of these links, I'll provide a list of the things we did that day so you can look at the things that might interest you. If you are just looking through this album linearly, and want to go through the whole trip day to day, then simply use the first link and start there.

When you get to one of the daily pages, you will see the same familiar buttons at the top and bottom of each page that will take you to the next day, the previous day or back to this index. Within a page, the activity sections are in time sequence, top to bottom.
