The Ruckmans Visit Dallas

A Dinner in Fort Worth

Prudence and Ron Ruckman have brought Father Guy up to Dallas with them to celebrate Mrs. Lucas's birthday, and on Wednesday they invited me over to Fort Worth to have dinner with them at the Chop House Restaurant there; it is an upscale steakhouse near Sundance Square. Everyone was there, including (left to right in the picture at left and the other pictures here) Ron Ruckman, Debbie (a friend of Prudence's), Debbie's husband (the Lucas family accountant), Guy, Prudence, Mrs. Lucas, Nancy Gleim (Prudence's sister, hidden) and Nancy's husband Karl.

I took one other picture myself, and then Guy took a picture so I could be included (and in that picture you can see Nancy). Thumbnails for these two pictures are below; click on the thumbnails to view the full-size images:

A Dinner in Dallas

Fred did not join us on Wednesday evening, for he did not have enough prior notice to bring good clothes with him to work, nor was the timing of the dinner late enough for him to fight the traffic to come down. But Prudence and Ron also planned a dinner for Thursday night over here in Dallas, and Fred did have enough time to plan for that. And since the restaurant they chose (Campisi's over on Mockingbird) was very close, we had plenty of time to meet the group there at seven.

At dinner were Fred and I, Karl and Nancy, Prudence and Ron, Guy, Mrs. Lucas and also three folks whom I did not know. You will be able to pick out the named folks in the pictures here, I think. There are thumbnails for these pictures below; click on them to view the full-size images:

Both dinners were very pleasant, and we enjoyed seeing Ron, Prudence and Guy- as well as everyone else.
