By noontime, Fred and I were at DFW for our American Airlines flight down to the Guanajuato airport. San Miguel Allende does not have its own airport, so to get to the city it's best to fly to Guanajuanto, which leaves a 60-mile drive to San Miguel. For people who have no convenient flight to Guanajuato, there may be a flight to Leon or even to Mexico City. Each of these leaves a longer drive.

We had pre-arranged for a driver to meet us at the airport and drive us over to San Miguel Allende. The meet-up and the trip over went without a hitch.
As far as the pictures we took between Dallas and San Miguel Allende, Fred took some on the flight down, since he had a window seat. On the drive over, I had the catbird seat, and took a number of pictures of the countryside between Guanajuato and San Miguel Allende. Fred then took some interesting pictures as we were driving through the city of San Miguel Allende.

No sooner had I rung the bell than Greg and two of his current guests- Chase Hoover and Mohamed Al Khen- came out to greet us and usher us inside.
