A Vacation in San Miguel Allende, Mexico

Early this year, Greg decided that he wanted to spend six weeks in Mexico to practice his Spanish, and he also wanted to get a place where all his friends could come down and visit for some of that time. He secured what he said was a really nice place, and then set up a weekly schedule, allowing each of to pic a time frame to be there for a visit.

Fred and I decided to pick the weeks of August 8 and August 15, and since Monday was the "changeout day", we'll go down on the 8th and come back on the 21st, to give the housekeeper that cleans the rooms at the property that Greg found on AirBnB plenty of time before new guests arrive.

The Trip Home

This vacation wasn't like a cruise, where each day brings a new port or a new excursion. We did some interesting things in San Miguel Allende, but as we were just there to hang out with Greg and his guests, we tended to do a few things over and over. So I think that the best way to organize the pictures for this trip would be to group them by either a particular tour or something like that or perhaps by a topic- like the cathedral (where we spent a lot of time, usually each day) or the beautiful home that we were staying in.

So the index on this page won't be time-oriented, but rather oriented by activity or event or location. I hope that the titles of the links here will help you focus in on what might interest you. In case you would like to go through all the topics or all the pictures, you can just start with the first link and follow the links from page to page through the Mexico pictures.

So pick what you'd like to see or just start at the beginning, because there will be links to take you from page to page. Each page will also have a link back here, so you can continue through the photo album.

You can use the links below to continue to another photo album page.
